Entiat High School Tennis

April 14
ENTIAT - Entiat hosted Pateros in a Non-League tennis match on Friday, April 14, 2023.  Entiat swept past the Pateros Boys 5-0, while the Pateros Girls got by Entiat 5-0.  Karsun Cole defeated Wray Scott in 1st singles 6-2, 6-1.  Trent Renslow continued his win streak (7-0), getting past Edwin Abrega 8-0 in 2nd Singles.  Jake Ostrow held off Pateros 3rd singles James Tolen 8-6.  Abrahim Ayala and Camilo Barragan won a close match in 1st Boys Doubles 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.  The Entiat Boys Team is now 5-2 on the season.

April 12
ENTIAT - hosted Soap Lake in a league tennis match on April 12. The Entiat boys team edged out Soap Lake 3-2, while the girls tied 2-2.
Entiat girls first double team of Kaia Tucker and Necia Sax breezed by Soak Lakes Addison Frazier and Riley Frazier by a score of 6-1, 6-0. In first singles, Denise Laurel held off Soap Lakes Maddison Pearce in a closely contested match 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).
Entiat boys first doubles team of Trent Renslow and Karsun Cole defeated Xavier Gonzalez-Robinson and Jocson Sanchez-Cruz in an exciting and hard fought battle by a score of 5-7, 6-3, 6-2. This was Renslow and Cole’s first match together of the season, outlasting the previously undefeated Soap Lake team. Jake Ostrow took an early lead and held onto it, getting by Graysen Pippens by a score of 8-4 in third singles. Roberto Pacherco-Lopez and Levi Renslow played a sound match in second doubles beating Christian and Yuri Teleguz 8-2.
