James Douglas Clark

James Douglas Clark (Jim), age 75, passed away September 11, 2023, surrounded by family in his home in Omak, Washington.

Born in Chelan, Washington, Jim grew up as an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and being on the lake. Fond memories include working in Stehekin on horse packing trips and being selected within the Boy Scouts organization to travel to Greece to represent the PNW at their world convention during high school.

Married to the love of his life Joyce Clark for 51 years, they had two boys, Jeremy and Tommy who they taught to love God, work hard, and enjoy life. Jim loved going to Stehekin with his family, staying at their cabin and teaching the family how to fly fish. The family enjoyed playing sports, horses, and riding dirt bikes together. As the family grew, Jim loved spending time with his six grandchildren, watching their sporting events, and taking them to Stehekin.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Hope Clark, sister Barbara, brothers Tommy and Jay Clark, with a surviving sister Judy Clark. He is survived by those who will gladly carry on his legacy. Wife Joyce Clark, son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Jennifer Clark with grandchildren Logan and Madyson. Son and daughter-in-law Tom and Melissa Clark with grandchildren Josiah, Hanna, Elijah, and Ezra, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the Chelan Fraternal Cemetery at 815 N. Bradley Street, Chelan WA, on October 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. This will be followed by a reception at The Springs, 905 Engh Rd, Omak, WA following the graveside service.
