CHELAN — Tsillan Cellars has appointed Kevin McFadden as general manager, succeeding Bob Hargadon, who retired from the role. McFadden will oversee all aspects of the winery’s operations, including wine production, estate vineyards, tasting rooms in Chelan and Woodinville, and Sorrento’s Ristorante.

McFadden holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from The Ohio State University, a master’s in management of technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and is a certified Master Project Manager. He entered the wine industry in 2016, gaining experience in winemaking, winery management and e-commerce, and later consulting for wineries with a focus on direct-to-consumer operations and hospitality.

“We are excited to welcome Kevin to Tsillan Cellars in this vital leadership role,” said Dr. Bob Jankelson, founder and owner. “I am confident Kevin will continue the success of his predecessor, Bob Hargadon, to establish and maintain Tsillan Cellars’ reputation as one of Washington State’s premier destination wineries. His impressive operational systems background and deep love for wine will help us continue to provide exceptional experiences that celebrate the beauty and bounty of Lake Chelan.”

“I’m honored to join Tsillan Cellars and contribute to a legacy built on craftsmanship, innovation, and guest-centered experiences,” McFadden said. “This region holds a special place in my heart, and I’m eager to work with the amazing team here to deepen the connection between our wines, our cuisine, and the guests who come to enjoy them.”

McFadden is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys cycling, hiking, hunting and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
