CHELAN - There was a lot of action for the Lake Chelan lady golfers this week. Besides the weekly competition, many players participated in the 51st annual Leavenworth Invitational Tournament.
Our weekly competition this week was Medal Play which is Low Gross of the Field, Low Net of the Field and Low Net by Division.
Low Gross of the Field: Stacy Bjarnason, 91.Low Net of the Field: Carol Giffin, 69.
Low Net by Division as follows:
Division 1: First Place: Linda Reister, 83.
Division 2: First Place: Nancy Judson, 70. Second Place: Janet Foyle, 76.
Division 3: First Place: Carla Bailey, 74. Second Place was a tie between Nancy Parker and Bernie Rayner, 82.
Chip-Ins were made by Bernie Rayner hole 5, Janet Foyle hole 11, Carla Bailey hole 16 and Carol Giffin hole 17.
No one hit the green on hole 11 so the KP pot will carry over to next week.
Leavenworth Tournament results as follows:
Cindi Smith’s team won the team best ball overall.
Loa Servis won 3rd low Net in the 4th flight and her team won 2nd  best ball foursome.
Linda Reister’s team won 3rd best ball foursome.
Jan Artim won 2nd low gross in the 1st flight.
Linda Hahn won 1st low Net in the 3rd flight
Sherry Fisk won 2nd low gross in the 4th flight.
Susie Martin won the accuracy drive for the 4th flight.
Barb Rayburn, April Talley, Susie Martin and Joni Dedo won some wonderful raffle prizes. The tournament served a great lunch and bar service under their beautiful trees next to the 18th hole.
