TEE TIME

CHELAN - What a fun day of golf for the Lake Chelan Ladies Club. We went out in groups of three for a whole team score of total putts. The winning team was April Talley, Karen Erickson and Loa Servis for a total score of 94 putts.
April Talley got an elusive eagle on hole 17 which is a par 5 where she holed her third shot from 93 yards. April was also the lone birdie girl on hole 15. Chip-Ins were made by Karen Erickson on hole 10 and Sherry Fisk on hole 10 and April Talley’s eagle on hole 17 was technically a chip-in.
The winner of our KP pot was Tina Nyce on hole 18 at 19’4” from the pin.
Next week’s (June 15) competition is Medal Play (Low Net by division, low gross and low Net of the field.) our tee time is 8:30 a.m. please check in by 8 a.m..

This week’s competition was Monthly Medal (low gross and net by division and fewest putts). Twenty-two players braved the breezy conditions and the day turned out to be beautiful.
Division 1: Low Gross: First Place, Jan Artim was on a roll shooting a 79. Second Place, Cindi Smith, 98.
Low Net: First Place, April Talley, 76. Second Place, Elona Teague, 80.
Fewest Putts was a tie between Jan Artim and Elona Teague, 31.
 Division 2: Low Gross: First Place, Linda Hahn, 100. Second Place, Nancy Judson, 105.
Low Net: First Place, Janet Foyle, 75. Second Place was a tie between Sherry Fisk and Susie Clausen, 80.
Fewest Putts: Janet Foyle, 33.
 Division 3: Low Gross: First Place, Nancy Parker, 101. Second Place, Loa Servis, 108.
Low Net: First Place, Tina Nyce, 70. Second Place, Carol Giffin, 73.
Fewest Putts: Nancy Parker, 29.
 Birdie girl Jan Artim made 3 of them on holes 7, 13 and 14.
Chip-ins were made by Susie Clausen, hole 4, Nancy Parker hole 4, Judy Johanson hole 11, Tina Nyce hole 5, Loa Servis hole 3, Carol Giffin hole 4, Bernie Rayner hole 13.  
Bernie Rayner also won closest to the pin on hole 2 at 33’6”.
May 25
This week’s competition was ONES (gross score of holes starting with the letters O,N,E and S less ½ your handicap). Twenty one ladies were in this competition. Also, this was the final match of our club’s Apple Blossom tournament. In a masterful battle Linda Hahn defeated Nancy Parker in match-play 3 and 1. Congratulations goes to Linda Hahn as our 2023 Apple Blossom winner.
Division 1: First Place: Jan Artim, 38.5.
Division 2: First Place: Linda Hahn, 36. Second Place was a tie between Janet Foyle and Susie Clausen, 37.
Division 3: First Place: Carla Bailey, 32.5. Second Place: Carol Giffin, 35.
Birdies were made by Jan Artim, hole 7, Nancy Judson, hole 18, Janet Foyle, hole 18, Ann Britt Gagnon, hole 7, Susie Clausen, hole 11. Ann Britt Gagnon won the chip- in pot on hole 7. Carla Bailey was the closest KP winner on hole 11, only 6’3” away.
