CHELAN/WENATCHEE - The bans on the renting of short term rentals in unincorporated Chelan County and the City of Chelan expired last week on May 4.
The City of Chelan said in a press release: ‘‘After careful consideration, the City of Chelan has chosen to follow Chelan County’s lead and hereby rescinds Executive Order 20-01 regarding Short Term Rentals, effective immediately. However, The Governor’s Stay Home – Stay Healthy Order is still in effect and all provisions of the order should be followed.’’
