Free At-home COVID tests now available

NCW - Every home in the United States is eligible to get 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests via the website www.covidtests.gov.

Deliveries cannot be sent to a P.O. Box or an address that doesn’t receive mail. Orders typically 7-12 days to arrive, with earliest shipments arriving late January.

As of writing, the site may be slow due to it’s quick release date. Problems have arisen for those who live in multi-family residences.

Testing

The Chelan Douglas Health District (CDHD) is operating a community testing site at the Town Toyota Center on 1300 Walla Walla Avenue in Wenatchee. Due to high demand and limited test supplies, please note the following:

• Testing is only available for symptomatic individuals

• Testing site is open Monday-Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

• Pre-registration is required. Pre-register at www.cdhd.wa.gov. For help with pre-registration call 509-903-3900.
