Fireworks, open burning banned

Residents and visitors of the Lake Chelan Valley are reminded that consumers fireworks are banned in all cities and towns in Chelan county and opening burning (debris piles etc.) is banned in the valley until Oct. 1, due to high fire danger. Everyone is encouraged to attend public fireworks to be the valley July 4 and July 7. See the bulletin board on page 4, for more information on those displays.
