Thirty-two year old Brewster woman charged with Vehicular Homicide

BREWSTER - On Sunday, May 29, 2022 at about 10:13 p.m Okanogan 
> County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a female arriving at a 
> residence on Old Highway 97 who was screaming and stating that 
> someone was dying in the pond.
>
> Okanogan County Sheriff’s Deputy Gonzalez responded to the scene, 
> along with Sgt. Nichols, Brewster Police Department, and Deputy 
> Lopez, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. They located a vehicle 
> submerged in a pond.
>
> At about 1:16 a.m. the vehicle was removed from the pond and a 6-
> year-old boy was located deceased inside the vehicle.
>
>  During the investigation, Deputy Gonzalez developed probable cause 
> the driver was impaired on intoxicants. Infante-Penaloza, Llesenia, 
> 32-year-old female, from Brewster, was booked into Okanogan County 
> Correction Center for Vehicular Homicide.
