Posted

CHELAN – The Lake Chelan Arts Festival will return to Riverwalk Park June 26-28, bringing three days of art, music, and family-friendly activities to downtown Chelan.

The free festival is the largest annual event produced by the Lake Chelan Arts Council and it draws visitors from across North Central Washington. Festival hours are noon to 6 p.m. Friday, June 26, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Held at Riverwalk Park near downtown Chelan, the event features local food vendors, live musical performances and arts exhibits celebrating the regions’ creative community.

Artwork spanning a variety of media will be showcased, including photography, ceramics, painting, glasswork, leatherwork, and jewelry, with artists from throughout North Central Washington displaying their work and regional flare.

Proceeds from the festival’s silent art auction support the Chelan Arts Council’s mission to promote, fund, and sustain the visual and performing arts in Chelan Valley through initiatives such as scholarships for graduating high school seniors, public art projects and community art classes are all provided by the council.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and folding chairs to enjoy the music on the park lawn.
